I’ve been running since 2019 and have reached a good level, completing 3 marathons. Last year, I ventured into triathlons and finished a 70.3 triathlon, all using training plans I found online. However, as I aim to complete a 100km ultra-marathon this year, I struggled to find a suitable training program online.

I had been following James on Instagram and after seeing him coach my old PE teacher to complete a race across Scotland, I thought there was no better person to message for help with this challenge. James’ experience completing various ultra-marathons has greatly contributed to my understanding and progress during my training. Thanks to James’ coaching, I have become a better runner. He takes the guesswork out of training by updating your plan on the VO2 app, leaving you responsible for running.

The community of athletes James coaches, from beginners to those tackling 100+ mile ultramarathons, is fantastic. Their support and guidance have been invaluable. James’ support has boosted my confidence for the upcoming race, and I credit him for making me a better runner.
