I first visited James early in my running adventure to get my first pair of ‘proper’ running shoes and at that time I received a basic analysis of my running form. Since that day I have now had a full analysis using his 3d gait equipment which was a great eye opener and helped my running form dramatically.

With regards to training plans ,we have worked together to get me through my first ever 100-mile race, which included everything from kit to nutrition to get me through the event. I would never have put in the training without that accountability that a coach and plan provides.

Moving on from there I have since been able to use accurate heart rate training zones calculated by James following lactate testing. This was great for me personally as I generally run to heart rate and was essential part in my 10-mile PB at canterbury. I managed to reach the paces needed knowing I would not ‘blow up’.

More recently were the training plans to get me through two marathons in two weeks, Brighton, and London. Up until two weeks before Brighton I was pretty much on track to hit my goal time of 3:35 then the lurgy came, and the goal posts had to be moved. Unfortunately, he has not produced a cure for man flu as yet, but I did get to the start line of both events injury free.

Whether you are new to running and have a goal in mind or an experienced runner just looking to improve then I cannot recommend James enough. You also get to join other liked minded runners in the group to discuss your experiences and have a chuckle along the way.
